Did you know HOA's can ban smoking on Condos?
In response to a request from local residents for a citywide ban on smoking and secondhand smoke at multi-residential properties, on July 15, 2014 the City Council reviewed existing federal, state, and local smoking laws and considered regulatory options. The Council acknowledged that CA law currently allows landlords and associations to limit or prohibit smoking anywhere on their property, including indoor and outdoor spaces and any or all residential units. The Council determined not to adopt citywide bans based on a request from one association, but sent an informational letter to the HOAs in July 2014. Links to assistance are available at this link: Additional info.

Got Parking? Remember when ...
Remember that feeling you had when you got your first car? You washed and
waxed it, and kept it in the garage. Now the garage has been taken over and it’s
time to clean it out. So how about having a garage sale? Or share a storage unit
with a friend? Maybe make some charitable donations. Just think how great it
will feel to park your car in the garage again, and at the same time do your part
for your neighborhood to free up on-street parking spaces. Take a look at
our “Got Parking” flyer for ideas.
