Read for the Win at Signal Hill Public Library this Summer!

Signal Hill Public Library’s annual Summer Library Program provides activities to entice readers of all ages to enjoy reading through the summer. School age children participating in summer reading programs keep their academic gains and start the school year better prepared for academic success! All programs and events are FREE!

TEENS (entering Grades 6 to 12)
Visit the library weekly to get the weekly gift. Keep track of your reading and get an entry into the weekly drawing for movie tickets for every 30 minutes you read. All weekly drawing tickets will be eligible for the grand prize of a backpack with school supplies. Attend the Thursday Drop-In Program to get an extra ticket for the weekly prize drawing!

Library Drop-In Program for Grades 6 to 9
Thursdays, June 23 to August 11, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Drop by Signal Hill Public Library every Thursday for crafts, movies, gaming and more! (sign up for the Summer Library Program and get and extra ticket for the weekly drawing when you attend the Drop-In Program).

Teen Volunteering
We participate in providing community service hours toward graduation requirements for students 16 years or older who are in the Long Beach Unified School District.
