The Halloween on the Hill Scavenger Hunt is back this October! Residents of all ages are invited to participate. Residents and businesses are also invited to become a Ghostly Gus Host.

Ghostly Gus will begin to appear all over the City of Signal Hill starting October 1! Find as many Ghostly Gus pictures as you can to complete the official contest grid. A secret code will be listed on the bottom of each Ghostly Gus sign. Signal Hill residents can find the ghosts and write down the secret code on their game card.
When participants complete a row (across, vertical, or diagonal), the game card can be submitted to receive a prize. Submissions must include a contact name, phone number, and email address to claim your prize:

Join us for Signal Hill's annual Halloween Carnival, Saturday, October 28, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Signal Hill Park. Wear a child-friendly costume, bring a bag to collect candy, and come ready for lots of spooky family-friendly fun! Children ages 1-17 must have a wristband to enjoy the activities, which include crafts, carnival games, train rides, candy and more. Wristbands cost $4 and are on sale October 2 - 27 at the Parks, Recreation & Library Services offices, the Signal Hill Public Library, and at the Signal Hill Youth Center during business hours. Food and snacks will be available for purchase.
Pet of the Month
Announcing the City’s Pet of the Month! Signal Hill residents can complete a quick online form to nominate their pet. You can find the form on our website and our Facebook page.
