[ARCHIVED] Accepting Applications for Weekly Brown Bag Food Distribution Program

COVID-19 Emergency Brown Bag Food Distribution Program

Through June 30, 2020, the Brown Bag Food Distribution program is now delivering groceries on a weekly basis to low-income senior citizens who are 55 years of age and older. 

Emergency Program Guidelines:

Extremely low and low income Signal Hill residents ages 55+ are eligible for the program, others will be considered as funding is available. Applicants must provide current copies of the following information with their application:

  • Proof of Signal Hill residency (Current Utility Bill) 
  • Income certification

Participants must be home during delivery times of 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Groceries will be left at the door to avoid any contact between staff and participants.
