Come learn a necessary survival skill. Hands-only CPR is a life-saving skill that will help you feel more confident to respond in an emergency. The Los Angeles County Public Health Department is providing this free training. Please note that this is not a certification course, just a basic skills training. Registration is required. The Signal Hill Public Library presents Bolt Up For Books: A Big Game Event for Kids. This free event for ages 5 - 13 brings reading and football together, just before the Big Game! Kids will enjoy literary and football themed activities, a free book bag, refreshments, craft activities, and one free children's book per family. This event is sponsored by the Los Angeles Chargers, Adventures by the Book, and the Signal Hill Community Foundation.
