Signal Hill City Hall and the Community Services Department are now open to the public by appointment only. All members of the public entering City Hall are required to wear face coverings that cover the mouth and nose, and adhere to all physical distancing guidelines. Visitors must be able to attest that they are symptom-free and have not been recently exposed to COVID-19. We continue to encourage you to do business with us by phone or online. Virtual appointments are also encouraged.
The following protocol is required to be followed by all visitors:
- When you arrive for your appointment, please check in by calling the specific department from your vehicle. We will then direct you to the entrance.
- Wear a face covering.
- Waiting inside or outside of the building will not be permitted. Please remain in your vehicle when you arrive and call the department to check in. A staff member will direct you.
- Please minimize surface contact.
- Please maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet.
- Please do not come to City Hall if you are not feeling well, if you have recently been exposed to someone who is sick, or if you are unwilling to wear a face covering. You can do business with us over the phone, online, or remotely.
The following safeguards have been implemented at City Hall to protect the health of the public and employees:
- Sneeze guards have been installed at public counters.
- Deep cleaning is performed throughout the day and public counters are sanitized between visits.
- Markings have been placed on the ground indicating physical distancing requirements. Please be sure to observe them when inside the building.v
