[ARCHIVED] Holiday Refuse & Recycling and Street Sweeping Schedule

Residential waste and recycling collections will be delayed one day for both Christmas and New Years’ holiday weeks for those with regularly scheduled pick-ups Tuesday through Friday. However, regular trash collection will be conducted, without interruption, on Monday, December 24th and December 31st. For more information, please contact Signal Hill Waste and Recycling at (562) 597-0608.

Street Sweeping

No street sweeping services will be conducted on Christmas Day or New Years’ Day (Tuesdays). Street sweeping services scheduled for the other days of the week will not be affected during the two holiday weeks. Therefore, please remember to follow the posted street parking signs for street sweeping on all other days. Tuesday street sweeping will resume on Tuesday, January 8th. The street sweeper may try to make up the Tuesday route on other days of the holiday weeks if those streets are clear and free of cars and debris.
