[ARCHIVED] Signal Hill Spring Cleanup

Signal Hill Waste & Recycling Services’ Spring Clean-Up program is scheduled on your normal waste collection day the week of May 23-27, 2016. The clean-up provides an excellent opportunity for residents to dispose of household items and yard debris.

During clean-up week, Signal Hill residents can set out unwanted bulky items (such as an old appliance, broken water heater or unwanted furniture) at the curb next to their waste containers. Signal Hill Waste & Recycling Services’ clean-up team, who works independently from regular waste collection trucks, will pick up bulky items set out for disposal. Bulky landscape material from your home (branches and brush) must be tied into bundles and must not exceed two feet in diameter or four feet in length. Please NO stumps, dirt, rock or concrete.
No Hazardous Waste Accepted! Clean-up staff will NOT remove hazardous waste.

Multi-Family Communities: Residents living in apartment or condominium communities can participate in the clean-up week by calling (562) 597-0608 during the week of May 9, 2016 to schedule a pick up.
