The City of Signal Hill and Signal Hill Waste and Recycling Services are coordinating the City’s FREE annual Christmas Tree Collection Recycling Program. On Tuesday, December 27, 2016 and Tuesday, January 3, 2017, Christmas trees will be picked up by Signal Hill Waste and Recycling Services at the same place where your trash carts are collected and will be taken to a facility to be recycled. Please remove all items including ornaments, tinsel, garland, and lights from the trees. Flocked trees will not be accepted.?
For residents who live in multi-family complexes (condos or apartments), please call Signal Hill Waste and Recycling in advance at (562) 597-0608 to set up a special collection of your tree.
The trees are recycled into mulch and other reusable landscape materials.
