On Saturday, April 9, the Sanitation Districts will be hosting an Earth Day celebration for you, your family, and your community.
The Earth Day event willb e held from 10 a.m. til 2 p.m. at the Sanitation Districts' Joint Administration Office parking lot, located at 1955 Workman Mill Road in Whittier. Approximately 4,000 people are expected to attend. The day will include tours of the San Jose Creek water Reclamation Plant and Puente Hills Landfill, workshops on gardening and composting, arts and crafts, educational booths, and more.
