1. How do I request public records from the City of Signal Hill?

Public records, City Council resolutions and ordinances, and other information can be requested by submitting the Records and Information Request Form online. See the Schedule of Fees (PDF) for information on copying costs and record retrieval fees.

2. How oftern are City Council meetings held and where does City Council meet?

City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chamber, 2175 Cherry Avenue, Signal Hill, CA 90755. Video and teleconference participation options are also available. Instructions to participate in the meeting will be provided on the meeting agenda. 

3. How can I get the City Council agendas and minutes?

City Council agendas and minutes are available on the city website. Go to the home page and look at the left menu, then click on Meeting Agendas.

4. How can I obtain a passport?

We no longer process passport applications at City Hall. You may go to the U.S. Post Office, 2371 Grand Avenue, Long Beach.

5. Where do I register to vote?

You may pick up a California Voter Registration Form at City Hall, 2175 Cherry Avenue, Signal Hill or visit the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk website to register online.

6. What are your hours?

City Hall is open from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
