The City of Signal Hill adopted the Civic Center Master Plan in August 2024, after a thorough community and engagement process, comprised of outreach at pop-up events, online surveys, several presentations to City Council, commissions, and committees.
Located at the center of the City, Signal Hill Park is already home to major events, including concerts, festivals, and social events, showcasing its potential to be the destination for all things artistic and recreational. City staff will continue to work to initiate the implementation of Phase I, with the design and construction of a new amphitheater, slated to be completed by the end of FY 26/27.
