Dog Sign-05

The City of Signal Hill contracts with the City of Long Beach Animal Care Services Bureau to provide animal care and control services.

Purchasing Dog Licenses

All dogs four months old or older are required to have a current dog license as stated in the Municipal Code Section 6.08.010. A permanent dog license tag is issued when a license is first purchased. A $10 fee is issued for replacement tags.

Signal Hill residents may purchase a dog license through the Community Services Department by calling 562-989-7330, or call Long Beach Animal Care Services at 562-570-7387.

Licenses may also be purchased online.
