The Signal Hill Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in May 2001. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to support the City of Signal Hill by providing funding through grants, donations and corporate support for charitable, cultural, recreational and educational purposes to benefit the community within the boundaries of the City of Signal Hill. The Signal Hill Community Foundation would like to cordially invite you to an evening filled with art, food, and fun! Mingle with your neighbors from station to station trying a variety of appetizer and wine options, while chatting with local artists. There will be opportunities to purchase and bid on fine art pieces throughout the evening.
The proceeds from the evening will benefit the programs supported by the Signal Hill Community Foundation, including Concerts in the Park, Brown Bag Food Program, Library Programing, & Holiday Outreach.

The first undertaking for the Foundation was the Unity Monument, dedicated in 2002 in memory of the victims of September 11, 2001. The monument is a symbol of our nation’s renewed strength and unity, blending five separate metals to form a sculpture representing our nation’s diversity.
Be a part of Signal Hill history by purchasing a brick to be engraved in Hilltop Park. Download an order form (PDF) and bring it to the Community Services Department (located adjacent to the Signal Hill Public Library) during regular business hours. For more information, call 562-989-7330.

The Signal Hill Dog park brick program benefits the dog parks future amenities and program services. Brick purchases are tax-deductible donations. Concerts in the Park is one of the Foundation's flagship annual events. In collaboration with the City of Signal Hill, the Foundation provides six weeks of outstanding, live entertainment in the beautiful setting of Signal Hill Park during July and August.
Every Spring in May, the Foundation hosts an annual Community Yard Sale. This event provides an opportunity for residents to do some spring cleaning and sell their gently used treasures in a visible location.
Send friends and family a note from sunny Signal Hill on our own note cards/postcards. Cards are $5.00 for a set of four, with proceeds benefitting the Signal Hill Community Foundation.
